Turnabout Ranch 2007, Drew came home and announced that his fellow co-workers had offered him to take Lucky home. Apparently she had been killing Turnabout's chickens and she was going to be put down (not the humane way), or had to be given
away. Drew having bonded with Lucky over the previous months jumped at the chance. Since then we've gotten to know Lucky - She is such a good dog, well trained, older, good with the kids etc. But she is a little OCD. She will only eat at night unless we are at someone elses house with new food, she won't go to the bathroom just anywhere we usually have to escort her to the park, and she hates being left at home alone....I have the 140 dollar bill to prove that fact. Sorry Mom and Dad! So we love Lucky and all her funny little quirks. She is a pretty easy dog to have, especially when we are at home. Then there are day like today when I wake up and look out the front windows and find this -
on my front lawn. Only in a town like this, with a dog like Lucky can this happen. It's usually pieces of dead rabbit that aren't recognizable but this is too much! How gross is it to find a deer skull and antlers on your grass. Oh the joy.
