Believe it or not we finally got our construction loan finalized and can have our foundation put in and our home ordered. So 6 weeks from Tuesday we can close on our home! We are so excited mostly becuase we will be homeowners but also due to the fact that our crappy rental is slowly falling apart. Leaky pipes, mold growing in all sorts of places, leaky ceilings, crappy neighbors who play rap music at 6 am, and no insulation are just a few reasons why we can't wait to move.
We are really excited for Halloween. Wynn is going to be the supervillian from The Incredibles, Syndrome. When we ask Wynn to say "trick or treat" he replies with " treat, candy, mouth." We still have a couple more days to work on that!
For FHE we carved pumpkins. Wynn had a great time helping Drew with his child proof knife! While cleaning out my pumpkin I would show Wynn the seeds and slimy stuff - for some reason he thought that was the funniest thing and just kept saying "slimy slimy."
We bring in our pumpkins every night before we go to sleep cuz we really don't want one of the "townie" boys to smash them in the street. Yep, that's how proud we are of our pumpkins!
